Narre pacifier, also known as the nipple on the thumb, can give children overshot or open bite. It shows a new study of feeding habits among preschool children documented in the World Journal of Orthodontics.

The study was a group of 34 preschool children divided into three groups: One group with bottle feeding habits, with a baby bottle and pacifier habits and without sucking habits. The results showed that the results showed that there was a significant correlation between feeding habits and children's dental status.

"It is well known that pacifier helps to move the children's teeth, but many studies have shown that stop sucking habit before approx. four years of age should not affect the occlusion of the primary teeth. In cases where it still has an impact on teeth, it is because that in connection with feeding habit also arose a tungeuvane that upon termination of feeding habit retains the change in tooth position. "Says Associate Professor Lis Almer from Dental School in Copenhagen.
