Question:
Hello
By prior root canal treatment was 17 January 2011 placed a crown on my molar. (Price £ 5119). By Dentist inspection August 24, 2011 were found inflammation in the tooth root and bone loss in the leg. The tooth was removed on 30 august (price £ 1000). The price for installation of a bridge will be of $ 14 thousandth This is the same clinician who performed the crown treatment and extraction of the tooth. There's just the problem that the clinic has changed ownership on 1 May 2011. Follows the warranty on work performed by the owner to owner. Or can you just wash your hands and fold. How and who can complain. Is there any possibility of damages.
Sincerely
Bente
Answer:
Dear Eleanor
I must be you answer guilty. But I do not think that 14,000 crowns is unreasonable for a bridge. Try to talk but your new dentist if you have the opportunity to get some reduction in price because of the problems you've had in the same region.
There is usually no guarantee of dentistry.
Your new dentist should be able to inform you of your appeal, you can also read more about here: Patientombuddet

Question:
I have made a 3 part bridge, the posterior molar + the next 2 in the mouth.
When I chew with the 3 part bridge, it does not seem quite right - Did not quite the same bite. It is as though it harder to chew on the side where the bridge is part 3.
Externally, my teeth nice tightly closed, but when I feel with your tongue, I can feel there is air between the teeth (at the 3 part bridge) on the "inside". At the other side where my real teeth are the teeth with no air on the exterior and interior side.
May there be space between the teeth inside?, If not the symptoms and damage it can cause?
Answer:
Dear Flemming
I can not comment on without seeing you in the mouth. I think you should visit the dentist when you have made your bridge.
Hope you can use my answer.

What I am entitled to ifm. a bad bridge?

Question:
For two and a half years ago I replaced a 4-unit bridge in the middle of the upper jaw. Shortly thereafter, it was found that the outermost tooth to the left had a crack in the porcelain across the middle of the tooth. The dentist now has twice reparet crack with a plastic filling. I asked if there is no insurance covering such things and he says yes, but there is not really anything in the matter, I'm happy with my dentist and he has not even made the bridge. I also asked him whether he had turned to those who have made the bridge, but he had forgotten.
I would now like to know what I actually owed to them in this respect, and how should I approach.
Beyond that it's annoying to have repairs made so that one can also see it and there's no natural teeth that are cracked and repaired across.
I'd also like to keep the bridge so far, but must of course realize that you can not continue to grind on a thin porcelain stand, every time it needs repair, so the bridge hold so not as long as usual.
Help me with an answer, so I know how to relate myself before I talk to my dentist again. I'm a little tired by the end of his answer.
Helene
Answer:
Dear Helene,
It is impossible for me to say anything about the warranty of the supplier your dentist has applied. I think you should urgently seek a solution with your own dentist. It turns out to be impossible to find a solution with your dentist, you always have the opportunity to complain about your dentist or the treatment you have received.
You can read more about how to complain about a dentist or treating here
As of 1 January 2011 will enter a new patient complaints system in force. But it deals primarily with public employees dental and not private practice dentists who want to continue with the old complaints system.
Hope you can use my answer.

I retired 73 years. This summer I got a bridge in Poland. My problem is that bidets feels wrong, the feasting and hurts when I eat.
Can a dentist here rectify it? Poland is excluded.
Mona
Answer:
Dear Mona,
You may find a dentist who can rectify it, or help you with your problem.
You will generally be always be welcomed by a Danish dentist, even if you have had extensive treatment abroad. But Danish dentists have the right to refuse you unless you have pain or other urgent need of treatment. You can also expect that the Danish dentist will ensure documentation of any. defects and damage from treatment abroad.
