Tooth “pulled” out

Question:
Hello
I have had a hole in the inner tooth in the mouth for a while. I chose to book an appointment at a new dentist than my usual, when my “old” dentist was too expensive.
I have taken an x-ray of the tooth before the dentist begins to drill into it.
It ends with, that the hole is so deep, that it goes to the root of the tooth and bleed.
And I get to know that now the tooth rodbehandles – sour fun!
After coming home determines the I me to get pulled the tooth out, since I can not afford at present to get a root canal.
When I 2 days later comes to the dentist, even an x-ray before the tooth should be pulled out, and when tandrykningen begins, she finds out that it must be, as it is for the close up of the tooth in front and thus can not be vrikkes proper loose – break along the way.
What actually was a simple hole has been much more complicated. It must be said, that my new dentist is far from seemed competent and had to repeatedly ask for the assistance of the clinic's proprietor, who also ended up having to yank the tooth out completely.
My question is, what is reasonable that I should pay for such a place. I believe that she should have a presumption that the hole was so deep that it could reach the root.
The situation I have tried that before with a dentist, and thus taken the position before that was done.
The first day of work is wasted, and subsequently, I am thinking that a tooth, where the half was drilled away, is weak, and therefore easily breaks off, what which the made the process much more complicated and more expensive.

The price you must speak with the dentist about. Maybe you can get a discount in the future.

Question:
I have lost a gold crown put on a broken tooth. Thus, it has only been cast on the rest of the tooth that was left. It is about a year ago, I got it made.
Is the dentist be liable ift. to repair the damage, so put the crown on again without payment, or is there no guarantee on work performed?
I have the crown, so it should be that low again, without the vast processing; images, etc.

Dear Mike,
There is no warranty for the dental treatment. If you believe that you have been a model, you have the opportunity to complain about a dentist or treatment.
It is also not unusual that one puts a penny on anything resttand. I don't know what you have agreed. But if you have the crown, and not broken any more of the tooth, so I think that you need to seek out your dentist and have it put on again. The dentist is not obligated to repair the damage without compensation.

How is it when you put the crown on?

Hello. I've just been at my dentist and had a tooth in the undermunden 2 times because plastfyldningen fell of and I have now been told that if it ruptures again, there is a crown on. My question is how is it when you put the crown on, and how long does it take and what does the dentist before to make the tooth ready?

Dear Sisse,
When one can not make a filling in a tooth, the pga. there is so much left of the tooth, you have to put a crown on. The first time you visit the dentist he/she will drill (work on ie. prepare the tooth for a crown) all the way around the tooth and then take an impression. The image will then be sent to one of the techniques that manufactures the crown, so it fits perfectly to your tooth. It takes approx. 2 weeks from your first visit to the crown is ready to be put on your tooth. While you are waiting for the crown, will the dentist put a aluminiumskrone or a plastkrone on the tooth, so that you can eat with it, and to keep the space until the real crown gets put on

The death of a tooth after affixed to the crown

Question:
Hello
I've got the makings of a crown on a molar,but I can still not chewing with the tooth. It is now almost 1 year ago, and the two times I have been cut something of the hump, as she believed this could be the reason for that I can't chew.
This has not helped, and now consider my dentist to the nerve may be dying, and that this may be the reason why it still hurts when I chew, and that I therefore must rodbehandles???there are other options.
This is a forsikringsskade, but will the insurance cover this, so long after.

Dear Susanne,
10% of the teeth that get the crown of the “door”, becomes necrotic as we call it in jargon. So it is very common. If you have pain and can't eat with the tooth, then the rodbehandles. The alternative is that it gets pulled out.
Whether the insurance covers is a little difficult for me to answer, but what you can find out of together with your dentist.

Can root canals be avoided by changing lifestyle?

Hello.
Thinking In the dentists never over whether root canals can be avoided by restructuring of the diet and their ways of life, as f.example,smoking, lack of exercise ?
I have had many root canals, they first as a teenager and since then have teeth just not been in order and is now falling apart in small pieces, fordii there is no longer enough tooth and no blood supply to the teeth.
There must be something that is better. Who besides I care for it.

No it can not if the damage is already done and your nerve has been damaged. But the conversion of the diet is a good idea to avoid holes in the teeth.

Pay for two root canals

Hi I have 5 years ago, got a tooth rodbehandlet. I should have it crowned. The dentist finds that the tooth is not “completely dead”. So it must rodbehnadles again. They charge 1200 dkk once!! Is it true that you can get and have to pay 2 times for the same tooth rodbehandlet 2 times??? I have not paid the last bill yet.

It is difficult to answer specifically. But sometimes there are more canals in a tooth, and often they are difficult to find. Perhaps that is what has happened in your case. In such a case, it is reasonable that you pay for it, because rodbehandlingen would otherwise just be more expensive the first time.

Question:
I have lost a crown, went to the dentist, who could tell me, that it could not be put in again when there was Karius in the tooth, also said that there was rodebehandlet,which I believe it is(it is a number of years ago). Pga. disease partly at the dentist and me, I have now gone with the “open” root in about a month, where it has been featured alm. dining, without I have felt any kind of discomfort/pain, my question is: can it be done with an untreated root?

Yes, it can. The nerve in a tooth can go and die without you notice it or gets toothache. So if your tooth is not already rodbehandlet, then you have probably not be able to notice something because it is dead.

Hello! I was at my dentist,fitted a gundkrone on a tooth for approx. two years ago, the price was approx. 6000kr. For approx. 3 months. ago,
broken root of the tooth, where the golden crown was mounted on, and there was no other way, than to pull the tooth out.
My dentist will give me 3300kr back, but only on the condition that I have inserted an implant to approx. 18000kr.Ie. that I no replacement get, if I can not pay the remaining approx.15000kr. I know that my question is more law than dentistry, but hope you can answer me on whether this is reasonable, and possible. can you tell me what rights I have the mht. compensation?

There is no guarantee the treatment. If you think it is unfair or considers the treatment is not good enough, there is the opportunity to complain. In my opinion, is the offer you have received from your dentist is reasonable, as he is not obliged to give a reduction in price.

What do I claim on the ifm. with a bad bridge?

Question:
For two and a half years ago I had replaced a 4-membered bridge in the middle of the mouth. Shortly after, it turned out that the outermost tooth to the left had a crack in the porcelain on the cross in the middle of the tooth. The dentist now has two times reparet the crack with a plastfyldning. I have asked if there is an insurance policy that covers something and he says yes, but there is not really anything in the matter, I am pleased with my dentist and he hasn't even made the bridge. I have also asked him whether he had turned to those who have made the bridge, but that he had forgotten.
I would now like to know, what have I really claim in this context, and how should I behave.
In addition to that it is annoying to have made repairs, then you can also see it, and there is no natural teeth that are chipped, cracked and repaired across.
I would also like to keep the bridge so far, but must see in the eyes, that you cannot get by grinding on a thin porcelænstand, each time it needs to be repaired, then the bridge holds so not as long as otherwise.
Help me please with a reply, so I know how I should behave, before I talk with my dentist again. I'm a little tired of his stalling the answer.

It is impossible for me to say anything about the warranty terms of the supplier your dentist have used. I think you should urgently find a solution with your own dentist. It does not prove to be possible to find a solution with your dentist, you always have the option to complain about your dentist or the treatment you have received.

Pr. 1. January 2011 will enter a new complaints system will be established in the force. But it deals primarily with the public employees dentists and not private practice dentists, who will continue with the old complaints system.

Can rodbetændelser (residues after already rodbehandlet teeth)cause bodily unrest, heart palpitations, mm, I can't find an external cause on the + to ledinflamation after sportskader will not all? On røgentbillederne is that ifl. my dentist is very little inflammation to see, so he does not believe it can have meaning, when I don't have major pain. I feel daily a murmur and a keg. I've got a feeling it may hang together, since I generally heal fine and are in fine fórm. I'm thinking that I must have pulled them out, which of course is a big decision on the sensations... It has been going on for at least half a year.

No I don't believe it. But it is not healthy to walk around with a chronic inflammation. But a half year is very short time to take such a drastic decision to get several teeth pulled out. I think you should work with your dentist to take a decision and evs. only observe these teeth for at least 1 year more.

Hello.
My daughter of 18 has just been at her new dentist (after skoletandplejen) and diagnosed with 8 holes, the 4 are serious. The gums are also problems with. The dentist said to her that he does not understand that skoletandplejen not have done or said something, when she was there last. WHAT CAN WE DO? HOW CAN WE DETERMINE WHETHER THERE REALLY ARE 8 HOLES?? IS it skoletandplejen not to have done its work well enough – or is it the other dentist, there are errors on the! WHAT DO WE DO??

Talk with the new dentist to get the requested medical record and x-rays of the skoletandplejen, then you can look at it together.
