I've been at the dentist to get drilled two holes for the first time today. I have never been drilled before, and therefore it was also the first time I was stunned.
I don't feel the anesthesia worked because I could feel pretty much everything, and it did really really hurts, got the chills and shook very much – was simply the worst I have ever tried. My question is whether you think the anesthesia worked? Is it not supposed not to be able to feel anything?
I was pretty swollen afterwards, and found it difficult to talk, at the same time I was also quite shocked, so were just home – had I not talked with my dentist about it. But think it is a little hard to pay $ 500. for stunning, when you don't feel it has worked..
Mvt. Anne Camilla.
Dear Anne, Camilla,
If you had pain during treatment, your stunning not worked as it should. Of course, it is supposed to be a painless experience to come to the dentist. I think you should take a chat with your dentist. Sometimes nervousness have an impact on the anesthesia.
Hope you can use my answer.
With kind regards
