What I am entitled to ifm. a bad bridge?
Question:
For two and a half years ago I replaced a 4-unit bridge in the middle of the upper jaw. Shortly thereafter, it was found that the outermost tooth to the left had a crack in the porcelain across the middle of the tooth. The dentist now has twice reparet crack with a plastic filling. I asked if there is no insurance covering such things and he says yes, but there is not really anything in the matter, I'm happy with my dentist and he has not even made the bridge. I also asked him whether he had turned to those who have made the bridge, but he had forgotten.
I would now like to know what I actually owed to them in this respect, and how should I approach.
Beyond that it's annoying to have repairs made so that one can also see it and there's no natural teeth that are cracked and repaired across.
I'd also like to keep the bridge so far, but must of course realize that you can not continue to grind on a thin porcelain stand, every time it needs repair, so the bridge hold so not as long as usual.
Help me with an answer, so I know how to relate myself before I talk to my dentist again. I'm a little tired by the end of his answer.

Answer:
Dear Helene,
It is impossible for me to say anything about the warranty of the supplier your dentist has applied. I think you should urgently seek a solution with your own dentist. It turns out to be impossible to find a solution with your dentist, you always have the opportunity to complain about your dentist or the treatment you have received.
You can read more about how to complain about a dentist or treating here
As of 1 January 2011 will enter a new patient complaints system in force. But it deals primarily with public employees dental and not private practice dentists who want to continue with the old complaints system.
Hope you can use my answer.
Sincerely
Dentist Joan Olsen
