    Question:

Our daughter is still very dependent on his pacifier. And we as parents find it very difficult to take that comfort and needs from her. We went to the dentist for 4 months ago. As was her tooth position nice. But the dentist recommended that she should not use a pacifier after his 3-year birthday. It is now two months ago and we believe that her baby needs is still very large.

How important is it that we take the pacifier away from her. And what are the consequences of not doing it at 3 years of age as recommended by the dentist?

    Answer:

    Dear mother of Fie

We always recommend that the child stops using the pacifier at 2-3 years of age and preferably before the age of 4 years. The older the child gets, the harder it is to wean from the pacifier. If your child use pacifier over 3 years of age, it can develop an open bite (incisors do not reach each other, there is air between), overshot (the mouth teeth are farther back than normal) or wry (under foot the teeth when the addition of oral teeth in the sides). There is particular tend to overshot by children who use pacifiers in addition to 3 years if the child develops a tungeuvane, this may be overshot worse.
I must take up the fight. Here are some tips for how. I may want. deliver dummies to the dentist, sometimes they have a "Suttetræ" or branch they hang them up, maybe. can "send" pacifier to Santa Claus or another baby who needs them :) You can also help take the pacifier from the baby and instead make it less attractive by cutting the tip of it with the child. This may then continue, once a week, until only the handle back. Try. lubricating the nail on the go.

Hope you can use my answer.
