    Question:

I've got a crown of -6 and several times experienced a lateral swelling of the gums and tested penecillin and several times klorheksidin pasta but it comes back, it is very sore when I press the swelling, what might that be??

    Brian

    Answer:

    Dear Brian,

This indicates that the tooth must rodbehandles. There is probably an inflammation of the nerve of -6 or perhaps one of the neighboring teeth. The tooth must rodbehandles does not mean that you also need a new crown on it, unless it is necessary. Dentist root canal treatment through the crown.

Hope you can use my answer.

    Sincerely
