Question:
I had a hole that had to be made. As I usually do, I got stunning. After about an hour I became dizzy and got nausea, it may be due to the anesthesia? Is it possible to get other anesthetics? I still have a lame area where the anesthesia was put in (it is 3 days ago) is this normal?

Dear Dentist
I have been successful membranoperationer on 2 teeth. I am very careful to keep my teeth clean, and paradentosen is also in abeyance, but unfortunately tandhalsene on the mentioned teeth has become really ugly. They look quite dark in the interval and I can feel that the dental neck is very rough. You can dress up a bit at the cosmetic with plastic or something else? I'm quite bothered by it, since it is visible when I smile very much.

Rubs a rodspidsbetændelse?

Question:
I have been going around in ca. 1 year with a sore rodbehandlet tooth (5+ left side overmund) with crown.
So since the 1. February 2010 had violent toothache in the 7+ (left side overmund) + jaw. Long rush (no keg), reaction to cold and touch of the tooth and also something smelly from the gums. The tooth has not filling.
At the same time starting 5+ to send something smelly from the gums in the mouth, when I put the tongue up and suck and at the same time.
I have been on the penicillin cure, got scanned my sinuses, but there is nothing to see – neither rodbetændelser.
The pain/the long-lasting rush is, however, slowed since the penicillin cure, but I can not chew with the 5+ and 7+, and it is sore. The gums are bothered and the smell is sour and fishy.
Must, as soon as have a rodresektion of 5+, even though nothing can be seen on x-ray, but my question is: Can the 1 years with a rodspidsbetændelse in the 5+, have spread to rodspidsen of 7+ via a jaw - or kæbehulebetændelse and as a result of rodspidsbetændelse in 5+?

I've been at the dentist and get pulled 2 teeth out. A visdomstand in the mouth and the tooth just in front of the visdomstanden. Both teeth had grown out and the dentist removed them both with a pair of pliers, without having to cut first. On the bill I have been billed for 2x surgical removal, uncomplicated. Why is it not alm. the tooth extraction?

Pain that pulls down the jaw and neck

Question:
Had pain in a molar in undermunden and it pulled down the jaw, neck and sometimes in the ear. Had it as if some of the glands were raised, but it said my doctor that they were not. The dentist found a crack in the kindtanden and I have changed my sølvfyldning from silver to plastic and now it is soon 4 weeks ago. Aw I still feel it pulls down the jaw and neck. What it be??? I've got a molar rodbehandlet in nov.2009, and this weekend, ie. 19. feb. 2010 is the tooth broken. I must see if I can get an emergency appointment with the same dentist in the morning, which has made rodbehandlingen. Here comes my question: Since the plastfyldningen in the tooth is quite big, should I then not be offered a crown on the tooth, it can I read that most one recommended? Could the tooth have been saved, for I foresee that it must now be pulled out.

It is difficult to answer specifically on your question. It is not certain that the tooth would survive longer with a crown on. It is always assessed individually for each tooth. After a root canal treatment will the dentist most often have a period of observation on the rodbehandlingen of approx. ½ Years before the crowning of the tooth. So I estimate that your dentist has acted correctly.

I've got a visdomstand out, have been told that there has been inflammation in it. My cheek is really big, like I have a tennis ball in one side of the mouth, a colleague says that it can be a blodansamling in my genre is that correct? If yes, when will disappear and you can do something even for that, it will disappear faster?

It is quite normal to raise up after a visdomstandsfjernelse. If you believe that there is infection, then you should contact your dentist immediately and get some penicillin for it. Typically, you will be uncomfortable with the fever if it is an infection. If it is general swelling, then there must not be anything, but be patient, it will disappear by itself. You can put a cold compress on the first 2 days after the tooth extraction, otherwise the heating cover the following days.

I must have removed the two molars because there are holes in them. I fear it is real. There is well a month for the first out. What opportunities are there for stunning. If it stood to me I should just in general anesthesia and then wake up when they are finished, but it is surely not a possible???

The general anesthesia is possible, but it is not something all dentists can offer. Nationwide, there are some individuals who offer this treatment. It tends not to be something big intervention to get rid of the kindtænderne, and this is of course under local anesthesia, so you do not feel any pain. If you are scared, talk to your dentist about it.

Have gone with severe pain in the jaw in a year

I have for a year now, passed with great pain in my left jaw. I had a visdomstand, was moved out of the left overmund because I thought it was the, it was wrong with. But it's like the hole that was supposed to be after the tooth had been moved out, still is swollen and it hurts when I touch it. It is very heavy and deep pain in the left cheek. When it is on, I notice that my left nostril, as a rule, a stop and they pull down my throat and up in my temples and the left eye.
Is there anything I can do on your own. Are students so it would be too expensive for me to go to a dentist!

Got suddenly, the space between the front teeth

Hello,
I am a boy of 20 years. I have always had reasonably nice teeth, and they have always been close to each other. But here the other da I noticed that have a little space between my two front teeth, they are sitting close enough up against the gums, but from the middle down to the tip is that got a small space. It is not a very large space, but when I look closely in the mirror sp, you can see it.
I would like to hear what has got to happen, and what I possibly. can do about it?
I don't know if it has any influence, but I think I'm brushing your teeth pretty hard, which I pt. is stopped after I've seen the space. Also drink I don't game much soda and juice, only a few times per week.

It is a little difficult to answer. I think you should go to your dentist and get him/her to look at it, possibly. take an x-ray image to see if there is something in the bone that can push to the teeth.

If you swallow a lot of fluoride, it can cause stomach upset, but it is no problem at the dentist. If you are pregnant, but not have too high fluorkoncentrationer as it can go out of the fetal teeth.

have always had space between the front teeth, for about 4 years ago I had filled it out with plastic. without problems. so about a year ago broke it and it was orderly. but since then I have had a tendesn I have not had before, with all the time to go and bite the expediency and pushing the tongue against the teeth. what caused it? is it something I need to do something about, do not have a headache may I add.
