Question:
Hi,
I have a question regarding a broken tooth due. a root canal treatment. Now I can see in one of your replies that there is no guarantee for root canal treatment??
I got in the month of march made a root canal, and it looked fine, said the dentist, but now there broken a piece of the tooth and the treatment is also broken, as I can shake with the other side of the tooth. This must be bad craft, and must be able to be covered by a warranty??

Dear Henry Wadsworth,
First I will say that your tooth is not necessarily broken just because it has been rodbehandlet. There are several reasons why a tooth gets rodbehandlet, and often there is not much left of a tooth when there is rodbehandlet. It sounds as if your tooth is broken, and it is something that can happen. When the dentist looks at the quality of a root canal, he will look at the rodfyldningen, ie. he replaces tandnerven with, it's close. And that is what he mean by that it looks fine. To the tooth ruptures has not necessarily something with poor craft to make, but is a quite common complication, which in some cases can happen.
You are not covered by any form of warranty at the dentist. But think that has been a model of a Danish dentist, have the opportunity to complain about the treatment. You can read more about how to complain about a dentist here.

I have long considered moving our children (11+13 years) to a private dentist, because I think that goes too long between visits (over 1 year) and if a problem occurs, it is almost impossible to get a time 
Now skoletandplejen made a new structure, so that the children are only going to study every 15-16 months. I think it is very important that the teeth be examined, especially now where they are almost only brushes even.
How is the funding rules by moving to a private dentist ?

For children and young people under 16 have a free choice to private dentist with a self-payment of 35 %, it will say that the municipality provides subsidies of 65 %. For children and young people of 16 and 17 years old have a free choice of dental care without any co-payment and reimbursement. Complications after root canal treatment. Who pays?

I have made a root canal in my tooth, and when this began to crumble, I made a crown instead (in the month of February 2009). Now I have got an infection in the same tooth, which has developed into a large tooth abscess. It has been incredibly painful and has been on the pencilinkur and pain. I have today (d. 7/9-09) has been at the dentist and get told that it is a gum disease. I have now examined Netdoktor, what this is because and that is that the cause of gum disease is to continue hiding dead tissue and thus the bacteria in the rodkanalens nooks. It will then say that the dentist in the dawn of time has not made my root canal well enough. Can it be right that I should pay for a tandrodsbehandling, or closer to the operation??? It is when those who have not done their crafts well enough, which caused my problem today. There must be a form of guarantee. Hope you can answer my question. With friendly greetings f

There is usually no warranty on dental treatment. Your dentist has probably made his job properly, but there are limits to where we can reach with our instruments. There is one more main canals in the roots according to the tandtype we are talking about. And there are also these small bikanaler where we can't reach with rodfilen. Some times it is so unfortunate that there will be infection in them. The only way to reach them is via this small rodoperation.

If you f.ex. grinds his teeth at night, tooth is loaded and feels sore to chew on. That does not suggest inflammation if it does not display anything on x-ray and the nerve is in order. It is not necessary to complement the study with the scanning.

Problems with to get the anesthesia to work

Question:
Now I have the last several times at the dentist, where I have been stunned experienced that my body is starting to shake inside, get heart palpitations and feel tired and heavy.
They can never really stun me where I should be, maybe after 2 – 3 – 4 attempt, whereupon I saw one really bad. My dentist says it is nothing to do with the anesthesia to make. The last few times it's gone really wrong (I think)
The previous time was my whole face numbed my lip and my eye hung, I might not blink, and really just not notice half of my head.
Now here the last time, I thought just it was there, but slowly disappeared, the feeling in my throat and finally I could not swallow.
When I almost flew up out of the chair and tried to explain to my dentist, laughed at he little and said that it was the ' stunning sake.... Øhhh well...
In an hour and a half I went and spat out because I'm not ku swallowing (the times I tried to smoke it wrong and had to cough and hack it up again)
I might sound quite squeamish, but even I can hold to much.
Now I stand so here soon and need to have made a root canal, but honestly.... Has very little desire for are afraid of what happens the next time.
So maybe my question is whether there are options other than local anesthesia??
Is it possible I can not tolerate it or what is it that happens?
My dentist has a pretty good reputation, and many of my acquaintances go to the dentist there.

Talk with your dentist about the evs. use nitrous oxide. Some times when the anesthesia does not work, it may have something with the nervousness to do, take the evs. 2 panodiler before going to the dentist, it can help you to calm down. It can also be due to infection in the area, which makes it difficult to numb the tooth.
It is very common that you feel a little heavy in the area where you will be stunned, but it is a little difficult to answer specifically on your issue.
Regarding the palpitations, then due to the epinephrine in the anesthesia, it is not dangerous. Ask the dentist next time if you do get anaesthetic without the adrenaline, it can be you get, the less the discomfort of the.

Sygesikringens grants for dental care varies and is, on average, 30 % of the price, which is deducted from the patient's expense. But there are many factors that come into play, among other things, collective bargaining, policy initiatives metres.v. So I am unfortunately not able to give you a clear-cut answer.

I think, actually, that my pain threshold is ok high – has given birth to 3 children without anesthesia and made a part of the dentist in the last few months. also without anesthetic
But av av av I have such a toothache and have had it for almost a week and a half now Trying to say to myself that it's just nonsense and now I must take me along, but it makes just as evil
I got a month and a half ago drilled two deep holes out and made a pulpaoverkapning (ie. she was trying to get the nerves to pull himself together).
In Wednesday's bored she had them so completely out – the nerves had not withdrawn as was hoped – but it all looked fine and sealed, she had them. She could not give any guarantee that it would succeed, and that in the long term could end up with a root canal – but she was VERY optimistic.
But since then I've just had an evil evil evil I was down there on Friday again and she gave me some penicillin and so she believed that she otherwise, just that it had to have something calm It all looked fine and it does not hurt when she turns on the teeth – it would apparently do, if the nerve has been damaged.
However, she tried to paint one of the teeth, since my root was very devoid
I will also say, it's been a bit better – but not violent much.
The first few days I took 2 * 600 mg. ibumetin – however, the dentist felt that if there was something wrong, had I had no need for painkillers 4 times a day.
Now settle I to take one in the morning – but it has still hurt in the evening, however, may well fall asleep for the
If I don't take the pills, ie. when I wake up in the morning ranging in the tooth and I can'T drink/eat anything cold at all – it hunts SO much in it, so the tears are rolling And even though I take one pill in the morning, “forget”, unfortunately, I to drink during the day and is so afraid of the pain (think sku I end up with to lose me here)
Feel so pylret, the dentist works so uncomprehendingly (is really really sweet, so that is not the way) to the pain
Be down there tomorrow again – but it is to get a second hole

Our daughter is still very dependent on his pacifier. And we as parents are very hard to take that comfort and needs from her. We were at the dentist for 4 months ago. As was her tandstilling fine. However, the dentist recommended that she should not use the pacifier after his 3 birthday. It is now two months ago and we believe that her sucking needs are still very large.
How important is it that we take the pacifier from her. And what are the consequences of not doing it at 3 years of age, as recommended by the dentist?

We always recommend that the child stop using the pacifier at 2-3 years of age and preferably before it fills the 4 years. The older the child becomes , the harder it is to wean from the pacifier. If the child uses the pacifier over 3 years of age, it can develop an open bite (the front teeth when not one the other, there is air between), overbid (undermundstænderne stand further back than normal) or krydsbid (undermundstænderne when out of overmundstænderne in the pages). That seen in particular, tend to overbid by children who use the pacifier beyond 3 years, if the child develops a tungeuvane, this can overbid to deteriorate.
You must take up the fight. Here is some advice for how. In may possibly. deliver sutterne to the dentist, sometimes they have a “Suttetræ” or branch they are hanging them up, possibly. can i “send” the pacifier to santa claus or another baby who needs them:) You can also let the be with to take the pacifier from the child and instead make the less attractive, by cutting the tip of it, together with the child. This can then continue with, once a week, until there is only the shaft left. Try evs. to lubricate the go nail.

It is the absolute last resort when you choose to put a patient in the general anesthesia. There are other forms of treatment of dental phobia, blah. hypnosis, acupuncture or premedication with a sedative before each treatment. There are certain dental clinics around the country that offer general anesthesia. Of course it would be best for you in the future to be treated by a private dentist without a general anesthesia, so try and talk with your dentist about what it is you're so afraid of.
